Ted Konnerth has been President/CEO of Egret Consulting Group a retained search firm with specialties of Electrical and Industrial Products Manufacturing, Wholesale Distribution, and Mergers and Acquisitions Consulting, since 1999.

Prior to founding Egret, Ted was with Cooper Industries for 16 years. Cooper Industries is a Fortune 200 Corporation primarily positioned in the electrical manufacturing industry. Ted was VP, Sales for 4.5 years for a $1billion division of Cooper before starting his search firm.

Ted is a member of: The International Association of Corporate and Professional Recruitment (IACPR), National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS), founding member of The International Retained Search Association (IRSA), and a board member of The Pinnacle Society. His professional society memberships include: The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), and the American Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

Ted holds both MS and PhD degrees in Experimental Psychology from Tulane University and a BS from Ohio State University.
